Agreement

By using ActivSim, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

Description of Service

ActivSim is a desktop application for macOS and Windows that generates simulated user activity including mouse movement, keyboard input, scrolling, and window switching. It is distributed as a direct download and runs locally on your device.

Trial and Subscription

ActivSim offers a 7-day trial period with card details required at signup. The trial provides full access to all features. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan at the applicable rate.

Paid subscriptions are available on monthly and annual billing cycles. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the Paddle billing portal.

Billing

All payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as our merchant of record. Paddle handles all billing, tax collection, invoicing, and payment disputes. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service.

Acceptable Use

You may use ActivSim for:

  • UI and application testing
  • Demo, kiosk, and presentation environments
  • Internal QA and staging workflows
  • Stress testing desktop applications
  • Other lawful purposes consistent with the product's design

Prohibited Use

You must not use ActivSim to:

  • Deceive employers, clients, or third parties about your actual activity or availability
  • Circumvent employee monitoring, time-tracking, or attendance verification systems
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or contractual obligation
  • Interfere with or disrupt third-party systems or services
  • Engage in any fraudulent or misleading activity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

Device Access

ActivSim requires certain operating system permissions to function, including accessibility permissions on macOS and standard input simulation capabilities on Windows. The application will prompt you for required permissions during setup and provide guidance if they are not granted.

Intellectual Property

ActivSim and all associated code, design, and documentation are proprietary. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application for the duration of your active subscription.

Limitation of Liability

ActivSim is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the software, including but not limited to data loss, system disruption, or consequences of prohibited use.
