This privacy policy explains what data ActivSim collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data. We are committed to keeping data collection minimal and transparent.

Website Data

The ActivSim website is a static site. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing scripts in the current version. Standard web server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) may be retained by our hosting provider, Vercel, in accordance with their privacy policy.

Support and Contact

When you contact us via email at support@activsim.dev, we store your email address and message content to respond to your inquiry. We do not share this information with third parties or use it for marketing purposes.

Billing

All billing, payment processing, and subscription management is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects and processes payment information directly. ActivSim does not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials. Please refer to Paddle's privacy policy for details on how they handle payment data.

App Activation and Access

ActivSim uses Supabase for user authentication, device activation, and entitlement management. When you sign in to the desktop app, your email address and a locally generated installation identifier are transmitted to Supabase. This data is used solely to verify your subscription status and manage device activations.

Desktop App

The ActivSim desktop application runs locally on your computer. Simulation activity (mouse movements, keyboard events, window switching) is generated and executed entirely on your device. No simulation data is transmitted to our servers.

Cookies

The ActivSim website does not set cookies in the current version. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Data Retention

Support correspondence is retained as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry and for reasonable record-keeping. Subscription and activation records are retained for the duration of your account and a reasonable period afterward for billing and compliance purposes.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@activsim.dev. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
